Obstructing Trump's Cabinet Picks

It's no secret that McConnell and Trump don't care for each other. With comments like these I wouldn't expect them to be playing cornhole or pickleball any time soon.
Sen. Mitch McConnell discusses his relationship with President Trump. Trump has called him, among other things, a “sullen...unsmiling political hack." https://t.co/f43JEW5Iei pic.twitter.com/QOlCXKIAPM

While I think this public bashing of the president distasteful, his obstructionist attitude toward Trump's picks of RFK, Patel, and Gabbard are a clear signal to his constituents that he has no interest in representing them. Yet another example of McConnell siding with Democrats.

Mitch McConnell (@SenMcConnell) told reporters that he is a NO on RFK, Kash Patel, & Tulsi Gabbard.
Trump won Kentucky by 31 points.
He took an OATH to represent his constituents.
He will break his oath.

McConnell has already voted no on one of Trump's picks (Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth) forcing the Vice President to cast the tie braking vote and confirming this critical position.
It's time for Kentucky to cast of bad leadership come the 2026 primaries.
