Mitch McConnell is out there slamming Trump's tariff plan with Canada and Mexico. He calls it "bad policy". He'd rather do what he's done for decades in DC... nothing.

He doesn't see that not only is it showing real promise in negotiations with our neighbors. Mexico has deployed thousands of national guard troops to the border to help with the crackdown.

I doubt Mitch cares much about the border at all considering in his 40+ year tenure in the Senate the only time we got real border control was when Trump came into office the first time. Maybe he's just worried that the tariffs will hut trade with China. That would hurt his wife's bottom line after all.
